General information on data processing
Scope of the processing of personal data
Our processing of our users' personal data is limited to the data necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services. The processing of our users' personal data takes place only for the purposes agreed with them or if another legal basis (within the meaning of the GDPR) exists. Only such personal data is collected that is actually necessary for the performance and handling of our tasks and services or that you have voluntarily provided to us.

You have the right to request information about your personal data processed by us. If you believe that the processing of your personal data by us is contrary to applicable data protection regulations, you have the option of lodging a complaint with the data protection authority.
Description and scope of data processing
Provision of the website
Every time our website is accessed, our system automatically collects data and information from the computer system of the requesting device.
The following data is collected in the process:
- Information about the browser type and version used,
- the operating system of the user,
- the user's Internet service provider,
- the user's IP address,
- date and time of access,
- websites from which the user's system accesses our website.
We store this information for a maximum period of 30 days. The storage is carried out for reasons of data security to ensure the stability and operational security of our system.
Web analytics
We analyze the use of our website with the Matomo web analytics tool. This is used exclusively to optimize the website in terms of user-friendliness and to provide useful information about our services. This data is not merged with other personal data sources or passed on to third parties.
The legal basis for the temporary storage of the data and log files is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
No personal evaluation takes place. The analyses are based on anonymized data sets.
The statistical evaluations are stored for five years.
Cookies
We use cookies on our website to make our offering more user-friendly. Cookies are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your end device (laptop, tablet, smartphone etc.) when you visit our site. The cookies remain stored until you delete them. This enables us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

If you fill out a contact form or send us an email or any other electronic message, your details will be stored only for the purpose of processing the inquiry and any associated follow-up questions, and used only within the scope of the inquiry.
The legal basis for processing your request is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. b GDPR.
We will delete your email address after your request has been completed.
Newsletter
If you register for our newsletter, we will immediately send an email to the specified email address containing a hyperlink. By clicking on this link, you confirm your newsletter registration (double opt-in procedure). If this confirmation is not received within 30 days, we will delete the email address from our temporary list and the registration will not have taken place.
If you confirm the newsletter registration, you consent to the storage of your email address including the date of entry, IP address and the list name of the desired newsletter. We will use your email address only for the administration and delivery of the newsletter you requested, at the frequency specified during registration.
Our newsletters do not contain obvious or hidden counters, third-party advertising or links to external pages that are not directly related to the content of our newsletter.
Each newsletter contains instructions on how you can unsubscribe from the newsletter.
File downloads (e.g., software)
We do not require any personal information from you in order for you to download files from our website.
Data security
During your visit to the website, we use the widespread TLS procedure in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser.
We also implement other appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or total loss, destruction or unauthorized access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
