Roles
Depending on the context (system, organization or space), various roles are available for accounts and users in SimpleDMS.
System
The use of system roles is only possible on-premise. In the cloud, all users have the system role «User».
Administrator
The administrator can make changes to the technical system settings.
User
Organization
Owner
The owner of an organization is allowed to manage the organization including the users of the organization and has access to all spaces.
User
A user can manage their own account and has no access to spaces without further permissions.
Space
Owner
The owner of a space has access to the space management functions and can, for example, empty the recycle bin.
User
A user with read and write permissions for the space including metadata, such as document types and fields.
The management of the space's users is not possible.
